I am currently a Lecturer at Michigan State University (MSU) and Universidad de Costa Rica. I was a PhD student and postdoc in the Gallant Lab, Department of Integrative Biology, and in the Ecology, Evolutionary Biology & Behavior Program, at MSU.
My broad research interests are the evolution of genes and genomes, the genomic bases of phenotypes, and the function, regulation, and expression of the genome. I prefer a multidisciplinary approach that includes modern genomic tools, field observations, experiments, and comparisons among independent taxa. |
I also love playing soccer, being outdoors, and contemplating nature.
